Can’t buy what they don’t understand.
AI-assisted digital studio
We turn complexity into clarity.
Quiet Seven is a digital communication studio. We craft brands, digital experiences and the software that carries them — considered, restrained, AI-assisted where it helps, and built to last.
Most businesses don’t have a product problem. They have a communication problem.
Clarity is the strategy.
Don’t support what they can’t explain.
Don’t execute what isn’t clearly communicated.
Won’t join a mission they can’t picture.
Belief
Most work shouts. The best work is understood. We build brands, interfaces and software that remove friction, earn trust, and disappear into the experience.
Built to be understood.
One senior team across strategy, design and engineering — so nothing gets lost in translation between what we imagine and what we ship.
Brand
Strategy and identity that give the work a spine — a story people can actually repeat.
Web
Interfaces designed for clarity, not decoration. Every screen has to earn its place.
Build
Engineering that ships exactly what the design promised — fast, accessible, durable.
Scale
Systems and documentation that keep holding up as the team and the product grow.
How we use AI
Real tools, used where they help.
We use AI the way we use any tool — where it earns its place. It drafts faster, explores more directions, and clears the boring parts of the job, so the team spends its time on the decisions that actually need a person: what to keep, what to cut, and whether it's any good.

Questions
Before you ask.
How long does a typical project take?
Most engagements run six to fourteen weeks, depending on scope. A focused brand sprint can be three; a full rebrand plus platform build is closer to four months. We give you a realistic range before you commit — not an optimistic one.
How do you price work?
Fixed fee against a fixed scope, agreed up front. You will know the number before we start, and it does not move unless the scope does. Retainers are billed monthly for a reserved block of team time.
Can you do just the design, or just the build?
Yes. Plenty of clients bring us in for one or the other. That said, the work is usually stronger when design and engineering sit together from day one — it is the main reason we keep both in-house.
What happens after launch?
Every project includes a support window after go-live, and we hand over documentation your team can actually use. Many clients then move onto a light retainer so the work keeps improving instead of quietly decaying.
We design for how minds actually work.
Great communication isn’t decoration — it’s cognitive science. A few of the laws we build with.
Hick's Law
Fewer choices, faster action
Every extra option lengthens the time it takes to decide. We reduce and sequence choices so the next step always feels obvious.
Fitts's Law
Big, close targets win
The size and distance of a target dictate how quickly people reach it. Primary actions get larger, nearer and unmissable.
Jakob's Law
Familiar feels effortless
People spend most of their time on other sites. We honour the patterns they already know, then quietly improve on them.
Miller's Law
Chunk it into 7±2
Working memory is small. We group information into digestible chunks so nothing ever overwhelms the reader.
Von Restorff Effect
The distinct one is remembered
When items are alike, the odd one out is what sticks. We make the thing that matters visually impossible to miss.
Aesthetic–Usability
Beautiful feels more usable
People perceive good-looking design as easier to use — and forgive small flaws. Craft is not decoration; it earns trust.
Process
A calm, deliberate way of working.
Discover
We start with the business, not the pixels — research, interviews, and a shared definition of what success looks like.
Define
Strategy becomes direction. We explore widely, then narrow fast against real constraints.
Design
Design and engineering move together from day one, so what we show is what we can ship.
Deliver
We launch, measure and refine. Good work is never finished — it earns its keep over time.

Journal
Notes on design, art & visual communication.
The quiet power of white space
Empty space isn't wasted space. It's the pause that lets a message land — and the clearest signal of confidence a design can send.
Why the grid still wins
A century after the Swiss modernists formalised it, the grid remains the most reliable tool for turning chaos into clarity.
Colour as language
Colour isn't decoration — it's meaning. How a single considered hue can say more than a paragraph of copy ever could.
